Howdy! Like many of you, I have struggled with procrastination my whole life. From running up the stairs two minutes before a semester-long project was due that accounted for 100% of that class’s grade, to finishing packing for a month-long overseas trip and literally zipping up my suitcase as a friend rang the doorbell to pick me up, to never going to sleep the night I had to move out and turn the key in…I’ve pushed the boundaries of procrastination.
My journey began in the heart of Texas, where I learned the value of hard work and perseverance through raising livestock and gardening. These early experiences taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and nurturing growth—principles that now form the cornerstone of my coaching philosophy. In 2017, I graduated from Texas A&M University, double majoring in Agricultural Leadership & Development and Agricultural Communications & Journalism.
Even with a deep love of my home state, I've always had an insatiable curiosity about the world and a hunger for new experiences. This spirit of adventure has taken me around the globe, broadening my perspectives and reinforcing my belief that growth often lies just beyond our comfort zones. Just as I am always ready to try new things and get my hands dirty in life, I collaborate with my clients to experiment with different strategies, embracing the process of trial and error as a path to personal development and optimized productivity.
Throughout my younger years of interacting with friends and strangers alike, I discovered my true calling: serving others and making a meaningful impact on their lives. In my four years of coaching, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients—from students, to authors, to CEOs. Each person has taught me valuable lessons, reinforcing my belief in the power of personalized support and the importance of celebrating small victories along the way.
Respect, honesty, and optimism form the bedrock of my personal and professional philosophy. I bring high energy and excitement to every interaction, infusing our sessions with a contagious enthusiasm for life and its possibilities. This positive outlook, combined with my professional organizing skills and love for exploration allows me to offer a holistic approach to tackling ADHD, executive dysfunction, and disorganization challenges.
My approach to coaching is best described as "leading from behind." I believe in empowering others to take the driver's seat in their journey while I provide guidance, support, and accountability. Using motivational interviewing techniques, I meet clients where they are, acknowledging their unique starting points while gently encouraging them to stretch beyond their perceived limitations.
With optimism as our compass and accountability as our map, we'll explore the vast landscape of your potential, one step at a time. Let's embrace the adventure of growth together, turning challenges into stepping stones and dreams into reality!
Outside of work, I enjoy many outdoor pursuits like hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and water activities, as well as working out, photography, and crafting.
Food for thought: As a procrastinator, do you say you’re the worst procrastinator because you do it often, or are you really the best since you’re so skilled at it??
Our hiring philosophy is simple: choose "people people" who love helping others reach their goals, are adept at using high-tech productivity software to help clients, and have a zeal for collaboration and teamwork. Plus, we have a soft spot for people who have struggled with ADHD, executive functioning, and procrastination themselves. It makes us better, more empathic, coaches.
